Start in the town you live in. Check the city's official website to see if they are hiring. Cities generally offer a variety of employment and almost always have a handful of openings. Public Schools Most towns and cities have public schools. Search for your local school districts website and click on the employment or human resources tab. Schools offer many administrative positions as well as maintenance or groundskeepers positions.

Pick a building, find a sign--search companies that are nearby so that you can search their website for job openings--many companies just don't advertise these jobs--the internet is cheaper, faster, and reaches more people.
